Bristol 41.1 Center cockpit

What they have said

“The prime attraction of these yachts are their spectacular sailing capability. These medium displacement cruisers track very well and handle heavy weather with ease. Lowering the centerboard makes a tremendous difference to windward, allowing the boat to point 10 degrees higher.”

Performance:
Sensational! Ted Hood’s design staff and Bristol Yachts’ craftsmen have helped define the term Cruiser-Racer. The 41.1 gets top performance from features like a medium displacement keel-centerboard design ( for favorable wetted surface to displacement ratio), a fine entry (for good upwind performance), powerful aft sections (for added stabilty and good speed off the wind), and a partailly skeg hung rudder. The best proof of performance is to sail and feel the sensation of the Bristol 41.1.

Interior Elegance:
Bristol’s superb attention to detail is prevalent in the 41.1. The all wood interior is both spacious and luxuriously appointed with generous use of teak and Honduras Mahogany which complements both the high quality standard equipment and beautiful furniture. Cruising Comfort is enhanced by the privacy of two separate staterooms (each with its own head and shower). This shallow-draft centerboard yacht which draws 4′ 6″(CB up) or 10′ 0″(CB down) provides comfort and safety while allowing you to explore anchorages that other vessels of the same size can not enter.
